Money is Important, But Often Not the Most Important

Just get up and go

Meg and I are quite busy, just like most couples today. We had a Friday off, so we took the time to visit our son and daughter-in-law for the weekend.

We didn't do anything fancy. OK, we did finally get an apple pancake at the Original Pancake House. Oh My Goodness! Sometimes it's the little things (OK, it's a huge soufflé based backed pancake that the two of us had plenty to share between us.) that you remember.

Nothing Special... Actually, it is special

Hanging out and talking. Telling stories and and laughing,

(Special)

Playing a board game we've played before, and then a new board game. (Who won? Didn't matter, it was more about the time together. Well, our son worried about who won.)

(Special)

Picking up groceries to cook a meal at home while playing the games.

(Special)

Sitting outside around the firepit. Even though the wind kept changing direction so we all had our share of smoke blowing over us.

(Special)

Time Is Valuable

It's very important to have confidence in handling the money that comes into your life. That is just one part of financial coaching. We often have to remind our financial coaching clients that money is not an end unto itself. Being able to make choices that are important to you is a much larger idea. Money often touches on those decisions, but not having cost be the first (or even the largest) consideration is powerful.

If you would like help gaining confidence into your handling of money, set up a call.
